Riding a wave of momentum after a comprehensive victory in Nevada, Bernie Sanders will campaign in the Super Tuesday state of Virginia this week.

On Thursday, Sanders will travel to Richmond for an afternoon rally at The National, a historic theater on Broad Street.

Sanders will then depart the state to campaign in South Carolina, the next state to vote, where he is currently tied with Joe Biden for first place.

On Saturday, the Vermont Senator will return to the commonwealth for rally in Leesburg, in the state’s north. It is scheduled to begin at 4pm at West Belmont Place at the National Convention Centre.

Recent polling shows Bernie Sanders tied with Michael Bloomberg for first place in Virginia. Sanders’ campaign says that volunteers across the state have held more than 1,100 events and will continue to ramp up get out the vote efforts in the final days.
