Bernie Sanders will be visiting Atlanta, Georgia this Friday for a fundraising reception.
Capitalizing on the momentum from his Iowa swing and the newly-reported 9-point lead in New Hampshire, Sanders will be traveling to Atlanta to hold a fundraising reception in an effort to connect with the electorate and raise more funds for his campaign.
Visits to the state of Georgia can provide Sanders with the ability to connect to the African-American portion of the electorate, a group which he has struggled to reach so far in the campaign.
However, with his campaign events with Dr. Cornel West, trips to South Carolina, and now this visit, Sanders is making a clear effort to turn that trend around.
