Sanders announces concert rally in Tacoma, Washington

Rock band Portugal. The Man will perform at a concert rally with Bernie Sanders in Tacoma on Monday night, with just under one month to go until Washington’s primary.

The concert will be held at Tacoma Dome from 6pm on Monday night, with the speaking program set to begin at 7pm.

Sanders’ campaign announced on Saturday that Representative Pramila Jayapal, of Washington’s 7th congressional district, as well as actor Tim Robbins will speak at the rally.

The most recent poll, released at the end of January, showed Bernie Sanders leading in the Evergreen State by five points. According to FiveThirtyEight’s Democratic primary forecast, Sanders has a 59 percent chance of winning the most votes in the state.

On Friday night, the Vermont Senator held rallies in North Carolina and Texas, with a record crowd of more than 5,000 in attendance in Mesquite.
