Two polls released Wednesday suggest Bernie Sanders would defeat Donald Trump in landslide victories in Florida and Michigan.
The hypothetical general election match-ups in the Sunshine and Great Lakes State were conducted by Florida Atlantic University and EPIC-MRA respectively.
In Florida, Sanders holds a six-point lead over President Trump, a far wider margin than any other Democratic running for president.
Rivals Senator Elizabeth Warren and former vice president Joe Biden hold just a two-point lead over Trump, within the margin of error. Former South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg tied with Trump in the poll.
In Michigan, Sanders holds a five-point lead over Trump. Other Democrats also fared well against the president in the hypothetical head-to-heads.
Donald Trump won both states in the 2016 presidential election, with a margin of just 10,000 votes in Michigan, and 112,000 votes in Florida. Democrats will took to win both states to take back the White House in November.
