The first Democratic debate is days away

It’s going to be a very important night for Bernie Sanders. This single debate could thrust his campaign forward, ahead of Hillary Clinton.

We know what the Republican presidential debate has done for Carly Fiorina. She’s gained incredible support over the last two debates. As has Ben Carson and Marco Rubio.

Someone who hasn’t done so well is the establishment candidate, Jeb Bush. Is this going to be the case for Hillary Clinton?

The Sanders campaign has a lot riding on this first Democratic debate. If Sanders performs well, it could mean millions of dollars in fundraising contributions, hundreds of thousands of new volunteers, and most importantly, more people who want to vote for him in the primary.

People are organising debate-watching parties across the country to celebrate the night with fellow supporters. You can sign up to attend one here.

If you prefer to watch the debate in your own home, it will start at 9pm ET on Tuesday October 13th on CNN. A live stream will also be available for free on their website.
