Bernie Sanders to host free concert in Iowa

Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is hosting a free concert in Iowa with an all-star band of artists supporting his campaign.

The event, dubbed #RockintheBern, will take place at the Adler Theater in Davenport, Iowa on Friday the 23rd of October.

The band will be made up of legendary guitarist Wayne Kramer, singer/songwriters Marshall Crenshaw and Jill Sobule, and Iowa’s own Brother Trucker.

The event will be free, and open to the public, however tickets must be booked and collected prior to the event. If you’re interested in attending, you can secure your tickets on the event page on the campaign’s website.

It’s not yet clear whether Sanders will sing. However, he recorded a folk album in 1987 and we think it’s pretty good.

Sanders recently hosted a fundraiser in a night club in Los Angeles.
