Sanders snags endorsement from Foster the People

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders today got the endorsement of Los Angeles indie pop band Foster the People.

In a Facebook post published on the band’s Facebook page on Thursday night, Mark Foster announced he had decided to support Bernie Sanders for president, and would “do what I can to help him become the next President of the United States.”

“If we come together and create a collective voice, we can knock down the old walls,” Foster wrote.

The post went out to the band’s 4.7 million Facebook fans.
