A new television ad released by Bernie Sanders tonight features Representative Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, who discusses the true cost of war.
Sanders’ campaign released the ad on YouTube on Thursday night. It focuses on the cost of war, and is voiced by Representative Tulsi Gabbard, a veteran and supporter of Bernie Sanders.
“What I saw in Bernie was a heart of aloha. No matter who you are or where you come from in this country, we are all in this together,” Gabbard says in the new 90-second spot.
“I could not in good conscience stay back here in beautiful Hawaii and watch my brothers and sisters in uniform go off into combat. These are people and friends who we never forget,” she says.
“My name is Tulsi Gabbard and I support Bernie Sanders to be our next commander-in-chief.”
The new ad has received praise online. Prominent CNN contributor Van Jones labelled the ad “amazing” on Twitter.
