Sanders to open Brooklyn office

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will officially open his Brooklyn headquarters on Saturday, ahead of the New York Primary.

Supporters are encouraged to gather to celebrate the launch of the office, before heading off to canvass.

Prominent supports of Bernie Sanders, including former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner, film actor Justin Bartha and musician Kyp Malone will be in attendance.

The opening and block party kicks off at 11:30am on Satuday at the campaign’s brand new Brooklyn headquarters, located at 131 8th Street, Brooklyn.

The event is free and open to the public, however attendees are encouraged to RSVP on the campaign’s website.

The New York primary takes places on April 19.
