In FiveThirtyEight’s Democratic primary forecast, Bernie Sanders is now the favorite to win eleven states of the fourteen that vote on Super Tuesday.
Sanders has a 70 percent chance of winning the most votes in the California primary, a 71 percent chance in Colorado, 77 percent chance in Utah and 97 percent chance in his home state of Vermont.
The Vermont Senator also has greater odds of any other candidate in Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, Colorado, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Maine. Michael Bloomberg is the favorite to win in Arkansas, Amy Klobuchar in her home state of Minnesota and Joe Biden in Alabama.
The forecast projects Sanders could pick up 523 of the 1,357 delegates up for grabs on Super Tuesday.
In a Morning Consult poll released last week, Sanders led by seven points across Super Tuesday states, winning 27 percent support on average.
