The New York congresswoman and Sanders campaign surrogate will join rock band The Strokes for a concert rally in Durham, New Hampshire on Monday night.

Julian Casablancas, lead singer for The Strokes, said the band is honored to be associated with such a dedicated, diligent and trustworthy patriot. “As the only truly non-corporate candidate, Bernie Sanders represents our only chance to overthrow corporate power and help return America to democracy,” he said.

Also joining the concert rally are Dr Jane Sanders, campaign co-chair Nina Turner, national surrogates Dr Cornel West and Cynthia Nixon. Sunflower Bean, another New York rock band will also perform.

The concert is open to all supporters and primary voters, and will take place on Monday night from 7:30pm at the Whittemore Center Arena in Durham.

Super volunteers, including those who have knocked on over 250 doors in New Hampshire, will be allocated VIP reserved seating.
