A new Morning Consult poll finds Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders to be the most popular representative in the United States Senate.
Sanders holds a 65 percent approval rating, the highest of any United States Senator.
The Vermont Senator’s approval rating remains unchanged from the previous quarter, while his disapproval rating improved by one percent.
Other Democratic presidential candidates did not fare so well in the poll. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota holds a 56 percent approval rating, while Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts was among the least popular senators with a 50 percent approval rating.
The survey found Susan Collins of Maine to be the least popular senator in the United States, with a 42 percent approval and 52 percent disapproval rating.
Senators Mitch McConnell and Joni Ernst also received low scores from respondents.
Responses were collected from nearly 500,000 surveys conducted by Morning Consult between October 1 and December 31, 2019.
