Bernie Sanders has significantly grown his support among voters in Texas, while support for Hillary Clinton has taken a sharp dive.
The poll, conducted between September 8th and 21st shows Sanders trailing Clinton by just 12 points in Texas, narrowing the margin from 40 points in an earlier poll.
The poll found that 36 per cent of likely Democratic primary goers support Clinton, while 24 per cent say Bernie Sanders is their first choice.
Another 26 per cent said they hadn’t though about it enough to make up their mind.
This poll is promising news for the Sanders campaign, as it shows support for Sanders growing 9 points from a poll conducted in June.
