Supporters of Bernie Sanders have been thrilled for weeks, as it was announced at the end of September that he would be a guest on the daytime talk show.

In a Facebook post on Ellen DeGeneres’ page tonight, she said, “On my show tomorrow, Senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.”
“Or, as I call him, Sandy.”
