Bernie Sanders, a Democratic Socialist, will make a speech to the conservative Liberty University in Virginia on Monday.
“Liberty University was kind enough to invite me to address a convocation and I decided to accept,” Sanders said last month.
The event is expected to draw thousands of students, while only a small number of Sanders supporters outside the university are expected to attend due to parking and seating capacity restrictions.
The speech will be broadcast live on C-SPAN from 10:30am ET on Monday morning.
