A crowd of 20,000 packed the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on Saturday night, while thousands more watched from outside.
“Boston, thank you. What a huge crowd,” Senator Sanders said when he took the stage.
The crowds inside were unbelievable, with thousands who were unable to make it inside, and were watching on a big screen outside the venue.

To put it in perspective, Barack Obama attracted just 10,000 to his rally in Boston in 2007.
Just hours prior to the Boston event, Senator Sanders spoke to 6,000 supporters at a rally in Springfield.
Senator Bernie Sanders’ next rally is scheduled for October 9, where he will address supporters in Tucson, Arizona.
