Less than three weeks before Super Tuesday, Bernie Sanders will travel to North Carolina on Friday for campaign rallies in Durham and Charlotte.

The first rally will kick off at 11:30am at the Durham Convention Center. By 3:30pm, Sanders will arrive in Charlotte for a rally at Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.

Both rallies are open to the public.

The most recent poll from North Carolina, conducted in the days following the Iowa caucuses, showed Joe Biden with a nine point lead over Bernie Sanders in the state. However, the FiveThirtyEight Democratic primary forecast suggests Sanders has the best chance of winning the most votes in the Tar Heel State.

North Carolina is one of the fifteen Super Tuesday contests. Sanders’ campaign recently announced it was launching a $5.5 million ad buy across Super Tuesday states, including North Carolina.
