Bernie Sanders has announced that he will return to the Golden State before Tuesday’s primary, holding campaign rallies in Los Angeles and San Jose.

Sanders’ first rally will be at South Hall in San Jose. The campaign is encouraging vote before the rally, with staff on hand to collect vote-by-mail ballots and turn them in to county registrars.

Later that evening, Sanders will travel to Los Angeles for a concert rally at the Los Angeles Convention Center, slated to begin at 5pm. The rally will include special guests Dick Van Dyke and Sarah Silverman, and will feature a performance by Public Enemy Radio.

“The time is now to ask which side are you on? I am on the side of working people who can’t afford to wait for change any longer,” said Chuck D of Public Enemy. “That’s why I support Bernie.”

Sanders’ campaign has more than 100 staff and 23 field offices across the Golden State. Volunteers have knocked on more than one mllion doors and made five million phone calls.

Recent polling shows Sanders with a commanding lead in California.
