Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has released a powerful new television advertisement, to air in South Carolina prior to the state’s primary.
The ad, dubbed Wheels of Inevitability, focuses on Sanders’ long record on civil rights, fighting racial injustice and inequality.
“He was there when Dr King marched on Washington,” the narrator says of Sanders in the ad. “Unafraid to challenge the status quo to end racial profiling, take on police misconduct and take down a system that profits from mass imprisonment.”
“There is no president who will fight harder to end institutional racism,” Sanders says in the new spot.
