In the early hours of Wednesday morning, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders attracted his two-millionth Facebook like.
The presidential hopeful from Vermont is now the most popular Democratic candidate on Facebook, with rivals Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley unable to keep up with Sanders’ rapid online growth.
Clinton has just 1.8 million fans on her Facebook page, while O’Malley barely has 100,000.
Sanders also has a large following on his Senatorial Facebook page of almost 2.5 million likes, making him one of the most popular US Senators online.
