Packed schedule for Sanders in Iowa

This weekend, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will travel to Iowa for at least eight separate events.

On Saturday, the Senator will hold four town meetings. In Anamosa, the focus will be on racial justice and prison reform. The other three meetings will be held in Clinton, Dubuque and Waterloo.

On Sunday morning, Sanders will attend a church service at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Waterloo. Following the service, he will hold a meet-and-greet with volunteers at the campaign’s Waterloo field office on 4th Street.

In the afternoon, Sanders will hold a town meeting in Mount Vernon and Cornell College, before travelling to Davenport, where he will hold another meet-and-greet with volunteers at the field office.
