Sanders to make trip to South Carolina

Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will travel to South Carolina, where he is currently struggling to gain traction.

Sanders will on Friday attend the First in the South Presidential Candidates’ Forum at Winthrop University. That’s slated to kick off at 8pm, and will be broadcast on MSNBC.

On Saturday, Sanders will be delivering a keynote speech at the 2015 Southern Regional Meeting of the National Federation of Democratic Women. That’s in Rock Hill, and will take place at 9:30am.

In the afternoon, there will be a candidate committee press conference in Columbia, scheduled to begin at 2pm. Finally, to end his swing through the Palmetto State, Sanders will hold a town hall meeting at the USC Aiken Convocation Center at 7pm, with doors to open at 6pm.
