Thousands welcome Sanders to Tucson

Roughly 14,000 people came out to Bernie Sanders’ rally in Tucson, Arizona on Friday.

The rally took place on the home turf of Raúl Grijalva, the first congressman to endorse Sen. Sanders.

Sanders tackled the same issues he has been discussing all around the country, but also notably spoke about gun control and immigration issues. This comes after a recent shooting this morning at Northern Arizona University, just four hours north of Tucson.

Momentum is continuing to build for Sanders, who will be attending his next rally in Boulder, Colorado on Saturday.
