Roughly 2000 turn out to hear Bernie Sanders speak at town meeting in Dubuque, Iowa, concluding his three-day swing through the state.

Opponent Hillary Clinton was in Dubuque earlier in the week, but only attracted a crowd of roughly 400.

In his speech, the independent Senator from Vermont said that his campaign will bring people together, and that when people are brought together, there is nothing that can stop them.

Sanders touched on the need for an economy that works for everyone, not just a handful of billionaires. He said that income and wealth inequality is one of the major issues facing America today.

Senator Sanders said that the current minimum wage was a ‘starvation wage’ and called for it to be raised to $15 an hour. He said he would also fight for increased paid medical and family leave.

Dubuque was the Senator’s final stop after a three-day swing through Iowa. He will be holding a fundraiser on Monday in Chicago, Illinois.
